My Tribal Dragon Tattoo

We’re supposed to be going to Mall of Asia and Manila Ocean Park today but I ended up in Metropoint Mall. I saw this Tattoo shop ‘GUHIT KAMAY’ in front of Dickies and Greenwhich, located at the 2nd level of Metropoint Edsa-Taft Central (todo promote he he he). It took almost two hours of pleasurable pain to complete this Tribal Dragon Tattoo and it only cost me 4,500.00 pesos. The outcome is fantastic and I'm very satisfied. If I'm not mistaken, the name of this tattoo artist is Rodel Bernardino based on the certificate that I saw on his shop and is a member of Philippine Tattoo Artist Guild (PHILTAG).

I'm not an option but the only choice

Somewhere between heartaches and waiting comes another chance to be found by someone who can show you that you don't deserve to be an option but the only choice.

Friendster Sucks

Friendster sucks BIG TIME. I'm now migrating to multiply since its more personal and faster. Friendster became painfully slow nowadays and it all started when they let users attached some applications on their profile. It is a very nice feature indeed but in actuality this feature makes your profile uploading very slow and you can wait 'til kingdom comes and still it will not be uploaded completely. They should have upgraded their server first before putting some additional features. In addition to this, majority of the users put some graphics comments or testimonials as well that are not related to and/or pertaining to the owner of the profile, they should be deleted in your friend list mah friend because this only proves that they don't know anything about you.

To my friendster buddies, see me in multiply. See yah!

Paradiso Inferno by United Colors of Benetton

Paradiso Inferno by United Colors of Benetton

An addition to my colognes/perfumes from United Colors of Benetton the Paradiso Inferno.

A provocative game of opposites. It smells musky and citrus with an oceanic fresh. A nice alternative perfume for my Happy by Clinique.

Love that lives in the heart

Love that lives in the heart cannot be so easily terminated by time. Eventhough the encounter is brief, its impression shall last a lifetime.

Self-Perception vs. Reality

We regard the perceptions we have of ourselves as reality. When we learn that there’s a disparity between that reality and the perceptions that other people have of us it is always enlightening, rarely flattering and, more often than not, insulting.

This disparity isn’t harmless it can promote your defective habits, facilitate the persistence of potentially detrimental personality traits and allow flawed perceptions about you to breed and multiply. Eventually, your ego will take a hit as the disparity damages new relationships in your life.

In an effort to reconcile that gap and square those misperceptions with the reality you know to be true, you have to determine the manner in which people arrive at their perceptions. You’ll need to hold your own view of yourself under a microscope and gauge if there might be some validity to the more common misperceptions about you. Once this is accomplished, you can take steps to close that gap by showing people the real you.

Walking with your chin up, slouching in a bar stool, spinning a hilarious yarn, wearing six rings, multitasking or doing nothing at all; everything you do transmits some perception about you to other people. To some extent, people will read you on their own terms, based on their experiences and somewhat independent of you. Justified or not, they translate your actions, body language, verbal communication, and even your superficial appearance into a jargon they understand.

Correcting Mistakes

It is never too late to correct a mistake especially if correction of that mistake leads to your happiness. So many people fear to change or correct certain things in their lives, which can be corrected and consequently live unfulfilling lifestyles. It is imperative in life to make happiness your first priority and change all things which rob you of happiness.

Madonna Decena - Britain’s Got Talent

Madonna Decena in Britain's Got Talent. A television show produced by American Idol judge Simon Cowell.

I saw this on youtube and got teary-eyed after watching her performance, it was a very emotional performance indeed and the audience gave her a standing ovation. Her name is Madonna Decena from the Philippines. Madonna has become a crowd favorite after the three judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holdren and Piers Morgan picked her for the semi-finals during the live audition held at Manchester theatre. I'm so proud of her.

I miss Gundam Wing

Let me pause for a while on blogging about life and relationship and let me bring out the kid in me. Just like anybody else who grew up in the world of anime and manga, we all have our favorite series. I already blogged about Transformers, Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist but I almost forget to blogged about Gundam Wing which is in fact one of my favorite anime. I was browsing the youtube early this morning and saw this cool revival of Gundam Wing’s opening song the Rhythm Emotion edited in Techno version. Most of you might find this video a bit boring, but for anime fanatics like me who watched this series religiously when it shown during the 90's will surely be nostalgic.

Rhythm Emotion Techno Version

Opening: Rhythm Emotion

Ending: Just Communication

The story of Gundam Wing begins in the year After Colony 195, with the start of "Operation: Meteor", the scientists' plan for revenge against the OZ military organization. The operation involves five young boys who have each been chosen and trained by one of the five rogue scientists, then sent to Earth independently in extremely advanced Mobile Suits, one designed by each of the scientists, known as "Gundams". Their Mobile Suits are called Gundams because they are constructed from a rare and astonishingly durable material known as Gundanium alloy, which can only be created in outer space.

The five Gundam Pilots - Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei - originally have no knowledge of each others' existence. On first meeting any of the other five, each pilot believes the others to be enemy pilots in new OZ mobile suit designs. Once the young pilots realize that they have the same objective of destroying OZ (and in some cases the same mission), they band together to help each other complete their goals.
